I'm Kumar Arora, and I come from humble beginnings in Cleveland, Ohio.

I'm an entrepreneur with an unwavering commitment to innovation. I don't start things I don't intend to make successful. Designer, brand builder, marketer, investor: those are just the different hats. The job has always been the same.

I work with a blend of artistry and analytical thinking, and it's taken me places most people don't get to go. I was a shark on CNBC's Cleveland Hustles, the show LeBron James brought to our city. My brands have stood alongside the Cavaliers, the Browns, and the LeBron James Family Foundation. I've been named to Crain's 40 Under 40 and invited to the White House to talk entrepreneurship.

These days it all runs through Arora Ventures, the parent company behind the brands I invest in and build. When one of them needs a builder, I step in and become one. I'm inspired by forward-thinking leaders, and I'm still exploring new frontiers.

But the belief underneath all of it is the simplest one I know: curiosity and hard work beat everything.
